At the core of every election, it’s about values — who best represents your values and will make decisions for the community’s well-being. I’ve had the privilege of growing up with a mother who embodies these characteristics. Alyssa Shenk is driven, selfless, motivated, and deeply passionate about our community. Over the past 10 years, I’ve watched her serve on the Town Council, always prioritizing the well-being of our community with every decision. My mom isn’t running for mayor to hold a title; she’s running because she believes in the power of community and wants to help it flourish. She envisions a town that exceeds our expectations, where responsible growth, public safety, and sustainability are priorities and everyone’s voice is valued."

Alyssa’s focus on the growth needed to continue to be a world class resort with the deep understanding that we are still a small town, sets her apart from any other mayoral candidate. Her voting record shows that she has put families and employee housing first every time. Her attention to childcare, her focus on safety, and her commitment to being approachable and available at a moment’s notice really show that her heart is as big as her resumé.
